Santiago Eljaiek III is a shareholder of ERRA Law and leads the firm’s transactional department. He and his team represent national and international clients with a focus on the sale, purchase, lease, and financing of real estate, as well as asset-based and structured lending. Mr. Eljaiek also structures and oversees mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, venture and growth capital investments, debt and equity financings, and corporate restructuring. His core clients range from private equity and venture capital funds and corporations to high-net-worth families and individuals. Carlos F. Rodriguez is an equity partner at ERRA Law. He represents clients in corporate structuring, commercial transactions, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, lender and finance company representation, and more. Mr. Rodriguez also provides general counsel to several auto-finance companies, automobile dealerships, general contractors, real estate developers, behavioral health clinics, oil and fuel wholesalers and distributors, and charter airlines. Throughout his career he has drafted and negotiated a multitude of employment, talent, and real estate contracts for corporations, musicians, entertainers, and athletes. He was an NFLPA Certified Contract Advisor and Licensed Athlete Agent for over a decade in several states, has represented athletes in various sports, and has negotiated dozens of NFL and MLB contracts. Mr. Rodriguez’s wide range of legal experience, combined with his practical and entrepreneurial background, provide an unparalleled foundation for his general and commercial practice, as well as corporate general counsel.

Carlos, a native South Floridian, attended Belen Jesuit Prep School, received his undergraduate degree cum laude from Barry University, and his law degree with advocacy honors from Nova Southeastern University, where he earned membership to the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (mock trial organization). Carlos is fluent in both English and Spanish and is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and the United States District Court – Southern District of Florida.

Ms. Ruiz brings her clients more than 10 years of experience in real estate — a professional background that enables her to provide creative, expedited service and result-oriented representation across a wide range of cases and scenarios. She is passionate about her work and her clients, and advocates for them with compassion and care. In addition to her experience in real estate, Ms. Ruiz has also worked with immigration and corporate law.

Alejandro R. Alvarez is a founding member and an equity partner at ERRA Law, where he leads the Firm’s litigation department. Mr. Alvarez’s practice is focused primarily on handling construction, real estate, and commercial matters. He represents developers, contractors, subcontractors, and material suppliers throughout every stage of the construction process and litigation. He also serves as outside general counsel to a Miami-based healthcare company. Over the course of his career, Mr. Alvarez has worked alongside some of the top litigation attorneys in Miami. He was recognized by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star from 2009-2011 and from 2014-2016.
